Carlton Hotel Singapore

Singapore

The Carlton Hotel Singapore enjoys a superb location on Bras Basah Road in the heart of Singapore, close to Orchard Road, Raffles Hotel, Raffles City, Chijmes, Singapore National Museum and several metro stations.

Within a 2 km walk are major attractions such as Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay, Singapore Flyer, Singapore River as well as China Town and Little India. In other words, you are bang slap in the middle of the futuristic city!

Not only is the location fantastic, but the hotel is, too! Elegance and comfort go hand in hand throughout, which is especially apparent in the 940 rooms, which are divided between three wings.

All rooms are spacious, modern and stylishly decorated in calm, earthy tones overlooking various parts of the city. Measuring at least 30 m2, they all offer modern conveniences to make your stay comfortable, such as Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a mini bar, an iron and an ironing board, an electric kettle for coffee and tea, a safe, a TV, a telephone and a desk. The bathroom boasts a rain shower, toiletries, a hair dryer, bathrobes and slippers.

After a day of seeing all manner of new things and walking many miles, you can treat yourself in good conscience to a nice relaxing massage or facial at the hotel’s day spa. If you need some time to yourself, make yourself comfortable in one of their cabanas with an exciting book. If you’re more in need of topping up your vitamin D, find a sun lounger by the pool and soak up the sun’s rays while enjoying a cool drink from the pool bar. The little ones are also catered for here with their own children’s pool.

The hotel has no fewer than 4 eateries. The main restaurant, Café Mosaid, serves international favourites throughout the day, and at Tuxedo Café & Patisserie, you can enjoy freshly baked cakes with a cup of coffee or tea. The award-winning Wah Lok restaurant offers exquisite Cantonese cuisine, while Shinji by Kanesaka, owned by Michelin chef Shinji Kanesaka, serves fine Japanese cuisine.

If you’ve overdone it on the good food on your tour, luckily help is at hand. The hotel has a gym, which is equipped with various exercise machines, so you have the opportunity to stay in shape. Afterwards, you can head into the sauna and treat your body to a little extra well-being.

Round the evening off with a fresh, colourful cocktail in the Joji Bar, which is owned by the team behind Shinji by Kanesaka.
