Parasol Blanc Hotel

The lovely Parasol Blanc Hotel sits like an oasis in Luang Prabang and is surrounded by lush, tropical gardens. The hotel is located a short walk away from many of the city’s top attractions, e.g. the atmospheric night market.

At the heart of the hotel area is a charming little lotus pond, which was formed by powerful monsoon rains that came after the earth had been removed to make bricks for the many iconic temples of Laos.

The hotel’s 30 rooms are decorated in a mix of traditional Laotian and modern styles and are all fitted with a private balcony, desk, air conditioning, cable TV, telephone, safe, mini-bar, tea and coffee facilities as well as a bathroom with a hair dryer, bath robes and rain shower. Unwind in the cosy seating area on the balcony as you enjoy the view of the enchanting tropical garden.

In the middle of the garden, next to the lotus pond, is the outdoor restaurant The White Lotus. Here, a wide selection of Laotian and international cuisine is served all day in both a la carte and buffet menus.

At The Parasol Bar, you can enjoy coffee, cold drinks, cocktails and snacks with a sublime view of the magnificent garden and lotus pond.

If you would like to visit the city on your own, you can borrow bicycles for free at the hotel reception. Wi-Fi is available all over the hotel as well.
