The Lady Hill Hotel

The Lady Hill Hotel is located at the top of Galle’s highest hill with a lovely view of the old city and the lush landscape. Within reasonable walking distance you will find the old fort, Galle Lighthouse and the National Museum.

Set in an architecturally beautiful building, the hotel is decorated with rustic materials. It was originally built by the Dutch in the 18th century and was later used as a rectory under British rule. Today, the hotel consists of 12 bright rooms, all with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a mini bar, a TV, a safe, bottled mineral water, coffee/tea making facilities, a telephone and a bathroom with a hair dryer and toiletries. All rooms also have a private balcony.

If you have sore muscles or you just need to relax, you can book an appointment at the hotel’s day spa, which offers various relaxing Ayuveda treatments.

The Lady Hill Hotel also has its own restaurant, where Sri Lankan, Chinese and Italian dishes are served, and all ingredients are sourced locally. In the evening, you can order a drink and enjoy the beautiful sunset in the Panorama Lounge, where afternoon tea and sweet treats are also served during the day.
