Visit the beautiful old English colonial building, Adisham bungalow. The house was built in 1931 by the English aristocrat Sir Thomas Villiers, and many big parties were held here for prominent guests. Both the house and the furniture are very well preserved, and give you an interesting insight into Sri Lanka’s history under British colonial rule.
Today, Adisham bungalow is used as a monastery.
Please note that the house is only open to visitors at weekends and on public holidays.
