Hin Tok River Camp is situated on the banks of the River Kwai, where the only other footsteps you will see are from the local farmers, birds and animals.
The camp itself is positioned close to the hiking trail to Hell Fire Pass. It is without doubt one of the most beautiful and idyllic locations in Thailand. The camp comprises 38 luxury tents (26–32 m²), all with their own bathroom and veranda.
All the tents stand on a platform raised half a metre above the ground, and all are fitted out in safari style. A large green lawn separates the tents from the river. The tents are equipped with proper beds, air conditioning or fans, and a refrigerator. After 22.00, guests are requested to keep quiet – this means no loud music, just the noises of the jungle. It is almost an authentic ‘Out of Africa’ experience – only in Thailand.
The classic tour in which you experience the contrasts from north to south in Vietnam spiced with the charming Siem Reap and the world-class attraction of Angkor Wat in Cambodia.
From the bustling city of contrasts, Bangkok, to the tranquil, lush landscape of the River Kwai, rounding off in Chiang Mai with tribespeople, elephants and tea plantations.
