You cycle through scenic Hoi An to the idyllic outskirts of the city where you ride past rice fields along dusty roads to the village of Cam Thanh, which has a timeless charm. You arrive at the home of a local family, where you learn how rural life is lived.
You leave your bike for a while and board a traditional round basket boat, which is made of bamboo. A local fisherman will show you how to cast a net and how to navigate in these iconic boats, which the area is so famous for.
There will then be a short break when you are served a nice fresh coconut.
You cycle on to the last stop on the ride, which is the Ha Linh lantern workshop. Lantern production is one of the most iconic and traditional crafts in Hoi An. Here, you will be given a demonstration of how they are made before you make your own.
You then cycle back to Hoi An.
The route is flat, making it suitable for most people.
